Dr. Jake Cho

Dr. Cho attended MIT for College.  He subsequently entered medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine.  After graduating from medical school Dr. Cho did research in Neuroscience at the Boston Children Hospital and continued research in the cardiovascular effects of stress during medical school.   Dr. Cho completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Ocala Regional Medical Center in Florida in 2020 and completed his nephrology fellowship at Maine Medical Center in 2022.  During fellowship, Dr. Cho participated in many conferences for the National Kidney Foundation and the American Society of Nephrology. Dr. Cho’s special clinical interests are chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and helping patients on dialysis and after kidney transplantation. In his free time Dr. Cho enjoys spending time with his family and staying involved with local Special Olympics. Dr. Cho is committed to excellent patient care and is excited to accept patients in our Fayette and Newnan office.
