Dr. David Bahrami

David Bahrami

Raised in Jackson, Mississippi, Dr. Bahrami graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College and later earned his M.D. from the University of Mississippi in 1997. He then continued his studies and completed both his internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. After completing his board certification in internal medicine, he is currently also board certified in nephrology. During his long tenure with the practice, he has earned a myriad of roles and has served on numerous committees at both Piedmont Atlanta and Piedmont Fayette Hospital. These include both Section Chief of Nephrology and Chairman of Department of Medicine at both hospitals. He has also served on the Medical Executive committees for both hospitals, representing his peers in medicine. During this time, he has also been instrumental in establishing many protocols for nephrologists. Currently, Dr. Bahrami is serving as Section Chief of Nephrology at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
